About Mrs. Stabo: My name is Bethany Stabo. I've been teaching for 9 years. I have a Bachelor's degree and a Master's in Education. I graduated from Kirbyville when I was young. Fun fact: my class was the last class to graduate 8th grade from the original building.
I love reading. We will be reading some of my favorite books during this year. We will also be able to work toward a new 40 book challenge where your student will be able to read all kinds of new genres throughout the year.

Schedule

This year, we will be learning a variety of standards while working our way through a variety of culturally diverse texts. We will be completing reading comprehension logs and activities to work on our reading strategies. We will also be working towards our 40 book challenge. The students who reach this challenge will earn an incentive in May. (It's a surprise!)
