Developmental ScreeningsDevelopmental screenings provide early detection of delays and health issues, increase parents' understanding of their child's developmental progress including strengths and weaknesses and assess the child's readiness for kindergarten. Group MeetingsThe purpose of monthly group meetings is to address parenting concerns, facilitate a support system among parents and practice parenting skills. Lending LibraryBooks are available to check-out in an effort to advance literacy growth at home. Resource NetworkFamilies are connected with the necessary community organizations based on their needs. |
Kirbyville Parents as Teachers is a member of the Healthy Families Taskforce. It includes representatives from more than 40 public and private human service organizations.
