A graphic designer is someone who works with type and images to create layouts for printed or digitally published materials such as magazines, newspapers, advertisements, websites, or promotional materials like brochures. Students will view, discuss, and produce a variety of art work related to the field of graphic design and commercial art. Students will create layouts for items like posters, newsletters, product labels, or other similar projects related to the field of Graphic Arts.
In addition, select 7th and 8th Grade students will also be working on the Kirbyville Yearbook. All students will learn about photography, layout and fundamental design principles.
